A one-day workshop on Education Employment Linkage (EEL), Sindhuli
The School of Education has been conducting Master's program in the field of Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET) for the past five years, as well as conducting studies/research related to youth employment. We have also been continuously interacting with partners working in the field of TVET. This time, under Linking Education and Labour Market (LELAM) project, we completed an interaction program with technical education providers and private sector industrialists within Kamalamai Municipality, Sindhuli on 22 September, 2022.

A one-day workshop on Education Employment Linkage (EEL), Kathmandu
Department of Development Education-KU School of Education, Master in Technical and Vocational Education and Training (MTVET), organized one day workshop on Education Employment Linkage (EEL) on 6 August 2022 at Ageno: The Hestia, Lalitpur. The workshop was designed to share how the education and employment systems are highly linked and share power decisions optimally. There were two parts to the workshop: the first half was learning summary presentations by our MTVET_2020 Batch students across the three themes: TVET Governance, Quality Assurance, and Work-Based Learning while the second half provided opportunities for the participants to share and discuss these themes. MTVET Curriculum Review Workshop 2022
Kathmandu University School of Education (KUSOED) has been running Master in Technical and Vocational Education and Training (MTVET) program since 2018. Since it is timely to review its curriculum as it moves to welcoming fifth batch. With this, the MTVET Curriculum Review Workshop 2022 was held on 4 January 2022 at Ageno The Hesita Pvt. Ltd, Dhobighat, Lalitpur. The focus of the workshop was to have stakeholder perspectives on the current MTVET program, especially on curriculum and to seek ways to further improve its curriculum to be operationalized from next intake.

LELAM CONFERENCE 2019 NEPAL
The LELAM-TVET4Income project team Nepal organized the project's first stakeholder conference. With the topic "TVET for Employment, Income, and Job Quality", the conference's aim was at interfacing distinguished TVET practitioners, policymakers, researchers, and employers (industry). The LELAM-TVET4Income project team Nepal organized the project's first stakeholder conference aiming at interfacing distinguished TVET practitioners, policymakers, researchers, and employers (industry) for the enhancement of the sector with the following specific objectives: - To understand the dynamics of TVET particularly related to its contribution towards youth employment, income, and job quality - To contribute for knowledge building on prominent aspects of TVET - To share innovative practices and concepts of TVET theoretically and practically - To highlight the challenges, constraints, opportunities for youth employment - To share experiences on building and sharing TVET knowledge - To provide a national/ international forum for TVET sector - To strengthen a national/ international network of TVET sector Conference Themes The conference had the main theme of TVET for Employment, Income, and Job Quality. Staying within this broad theme, the conference will have the following sub-themes: - Policy, planning, and practices - Institutions and systems - Governance and power-sharing - Financing and fund sharing - Cost-benefit analysis - Teaching and learning Quality, equity, and relevance - National and international case studies - Work, education, and training - Occupations and occupational areas - Development and TVET - Sociology of TVET - Inclusion in TVET
