Master of Education in STEAM Education (One Year)
Key Features of the Program
The main aim of this program is to prepare teachers, teacher educators, material developers, researchers in the field of mathematics education. Specifically, the prospective teachers will be able to:
- Follow the latest principles and methodology in mathematics teaching
- Undertake small-scale research to improve their own pedagogical skill
- Design and deliver a short-term teacher development packages for mathematics teachers
- Develop appropriate mathematics curricula, textbooks, modules, and projected and non-projected materials.
- Educate preservice and in-service teachers for effective teaching of mathematics
- Carry out several activities to promote the importance of mathematics education
Structure of the program
The program is of four semesters expanding for two years. There are courses for 54 credits comprising Core Courses (6 credits), Foundation Courses (21 credits), Specialization Professional Courses (12 credits), Practical Courses (9 Credits) and Elective Courses (6 credits).

Program Logistics & Requirements
- Duration: 2 years (4-Semesters)
- Class Hour: 4:30 - 7:30 PM
- Modes: Face-to-face / Online
- Forms Distribution: June / July of each year
- Entry Qualification: Minimum second division in BA / BSc / B Ed in Mathematics, B. Sc. in Physical and Mathematical Sciences or B. E. any equivalent degree or CGPA 2.5/4
- Note: 10% of Seats are available for International Students
