Department of Inclusive Education, Early Childhood Development and Professional Studies (IEP)

The Department of Inclusive Education, Early Childhood Development and Professional Studies (DIEP) received approval in November 2024 from the Academic Council and Executive Council, the principal decision-making bodies of the University. The establishment of the DIEP was founded upon the expansion of the Continuing and Professional Education Centre (CPEC), cultivated through extensive community education efforts within Kathmandu University School of Education. The depth of academic involvement, expansion of services, and potential for program innovation underscore the necessity of establishing the DIEP at KUSOED as a cross sectoral collaborative space focusing on research, innovation, and development.

Thank you for visiting the website of the Department of Inclusive Education, Early Childhood Development and Professional Studies (DIEP). DIEP is a cross sectoral learning space for adult learners on the cross cutting themes such as inclusion, special needs, ECD and professional learning who values collaboration, inclusion, empowerment, wellbeing, and entrepreneurship.
